• The goal of this class is to train the comparative eye, focusing on gesture, shapes, and value.  Students enrolled in painting will be using a  limited palette with a large focus on mixing, squinting and organizing your palette as well as developing their shapes, values and edges. 

• Class Schedule runs quarterly. Typically Tuesdays- Thursdays 3 days a week, 10- 1 pm. Specifics may change based on models availability. A finalized schedule will be posted with every new quarter.

• PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

    - This is a comparative drawing and painting class open to beginning, intermediate, and advanced students.

  - Gesture drawing will be implemented at the start of each session with 3 minute poses for the 1st 25 minutes.

  - Following the gesture drawing is the long pose that will be set for the duration of the 9 weeks.
